anyone who knows me well, knows that i think halloween in the best day of the year.

i saw a lot of great costumes this year, but can't pinpoint any mind blowing ones.
although i wanted to dress as alvin from alvin & the chipmunks.... i resorted to an easier option by going as 'grand-mummy'. good times.

here's a list of all the halloween costumes i can remember, starting from early childhood to more recent:

a king (burger king crown that had been bedazzled)
dracula
mummy
siamese twins (with my bf ryan armer)

hulk hogan (probably used that mask a couple times)

bob marley

garage fest.

so, yes! i made it down to portland for the weekend. leila and i took the train. good times.
we showed up a day early and spent some time getting to know the city. the next day was garage fest and after some wandering around and hot tub relaxing we showed up at the bar and held down the fort for around 6 hours waiting our turn to see roky erickson play! some other highlights included the spits, the black lips and $2 tall cans.
